I need to catch up. What has happened throughout my family?
The twins were 12 years old. Brit was in dancing school and Carmine was playing football. They both enjoyed their time in these activities. I would drop Brit to dance and run to drop Carmine to football practice. They worked so hard and enjoyed being with their friends and having so much fun. Rehearsals and camp, that was hard, but they did it. I was like every mom, sitting on the floor in a hallway, or backstage watching Brit practicing with other dancers. My belly would turn into knots before she would get on stage.
I also remember being on the sidelines and hearing the coach yelling out Montaperto, the kid with those amazing hands. I would hold my breath while Carmine running to catch the ball. I can't lie, sometimes I closed my eyes after each clash of uniforms and bodies fighting to keep the line and hoping my kid didn't get trampled on. As a family, we went to recitals, and games. We cheered and screamed. Well, I did most of the screaming. I didn't care, my kids.
About Me
- Maria
- I started this in 2012 to write about my beautiful family. My boy and girl twins, my husband and best friend. I was so excited to start and I just didn't continue. It's August 2018 and here I am again. Time moves so fast you don't realize days turn into years. I started this blog by introducing myself as a mom with boy and girl twins. I am married to a wonderful and handsome man... That's how I left off. August 21, 2018, twins are starting their 2nd year in college and turning 19 years old this October. I also just celebrated 21 years of marriage to my handsome husband, Monte.
